Breakfast was a delicious plate of fruit, yogurt from Buffalo New York, and a croissant. And tomato juice. And a bunch of coffee.
The resorts in North Lake Tahoe were mostly closed because of low visibility and high winds, so we went snowshoeing instead. I could very much get used to this!
We got about 3 feet of snow last night and more is on the way, so hoping we can enjoy the powder tomorrow.

The view facing East from the steps of the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial. The Gate of Great Centrality and Perfect Uprightness is in the center o the frame, with the National Theater and the National Concert Hall on either side.
The National Revolutionary Martyrs’ Shrine was established in 1969 to honor fallen Taiwanese soldiers. More info on wikipedia.

Turns out that a photo of me is in today’s USA Today!
An AP photographer took a photo of me getting really expensive gas in Menlo Park earlier this week. It showed up in a bunch of online editions of papers around the world, and then today is was in at least one nationwide print edition. Crazy!
Good stuff.
